This group's aim is to support collaboration and scientific development in this new discipline, through the organization of workshops and mailing lists, as well as the development of community resources to support the sharing of data and techniques.

Data Mining in Higher Education Consortium
EDM (University of Sydney, Australia)
This project - held by the CHAI (Computer Human Adapted Interaction) Laboratory in the School of Information Technologies, University of Syndey (Australia) - aims on attacking the various aspects of educational data mining, including applying and developing of data mining methods for gaining knowledge about the online learning process, extracting interesting patterns and making this process automatically, improving the visualization of the results, and looking forwards towards adaptive systems.
